Little Girls are Funny

I babysat the other night. I turned on the movie Sleeping Beauty, and just as the movie started, one of the little girls sighs and says dramatically, "I've never had a dream come true, and I always wished for one." It cracked me up.

I was a "petal pusher!"

I got to go to Pasadena and help decorate a float that will be in the Rose Parade on New Year's Day! I worked on the Long Beach Float with the submarine octopus on it. I glued on some silver leaves, moss on the rocks, and wired baby's breath on sticks. We worked our tails off! It took forever to get the glue off of my hands, but it was really fun! We also got to walk around and see the other amazing floats. I have never seen so many plants and flowers all in the same place!

You have no idea what an awesome person you are! You have always been someone I look up to because you have always been a good example to me. I am SO happy you are my sister. I love you so much, I can't even explain it! Let's just say I'm proud to be your sister. I can remember when I was little, my favorite thing to do was laying in your bed with a mud mask on my face watching movies. One specific night I remember was all three of us, you, me, and Cori, watched the Sister Act in your bed. I wish we lived close by so we could have more moments like that more often. Love ya!!

Happy Birthday Micah!

My friend Micah turned 17! 9 of us went to a Japanese restaurant called Ichibiri, where they cook your food right in front of you. It was so fun! I got teryaki chicken and fried rice. So delicious! Then, we all went back to her house, opened presents, ate cake and ice cream, and played wii. I had so much fun!
